The Turning Point is a gathering place for people recovering from various addictions and dependencies. It is operated by the non-profit organization of FOR-DO, Friends of Recovery for Delaware and Otsego Counties. We have a coffee shop, library, and audio visual facilites. Among other activities, we host Alcoholics Anonymous(AA), Narcotics Anonymous (NA), Al-Anon, Gamblers Anonymous (GA) and Overeaters Anonymous(OA) Meetings.

We also have Cookouts, Pot-Luck Dinners, Movie Nights, Holiday gatherings, and various other activities. Our purpose is to provide a supportive environment for Recovering People. Presently the Building is open before, during and after meetings and  selected hours on certain days. There is no lodging facility. It also serves as the administrative home of FOR-DO.
